Walnut Linguine
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups shelled walnuts, 4 TBSP LeBlanc Pure Walnut Oil, 2 lbs Swiss Chard, 5 shallots minced, 4 garlic cloves minced, Fleur De Sel & Ground Pepper. 1lb dried linguine & 1/4 lb semi soft cheese.
1. Toast walnuts in skillet over medium heat for approx. 10 minutes. Set aside.
2. Heat Walnut Oil in large skillet over med-low heat for 10 min. Set aside. Add shallots & garlic & cook while stirring until soft. Add chard , season with salt & pepper and cook (stirring) until chard is wilted ( approx.5 min.)
3. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water. Drain reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking water. Add pasta and reserved water to chard mixture. Stir in cheese & walnuts. Top with a sprinkling of Fleur De Sel for the final touch. Enjoy!!
