Sesame Teriyaki Baked Salmon
4 portions salmon filet (or salmon steaks)
1/2 cup Raspberry Teriyaki Sauce
2 Tbs. Mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine) or substitute sherry
2 1/2 tsp. sesame oil (dark)
1 Tbs. (heaping) sesame seeds
1 small clove of garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Mix together the Teriyaki sauce, mirin (or sherry), sesame oil, sesame seeds, garlic and cayenne. Place salmon in an oiled, shallow baking dish. Pour the sauce mixture over the salmon. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked thru (time varies depending on thickness of fish). Serves 4 |
